Business card maker app

To begin with, let’s find out which business card maker apps you have on your side. Below, therefore, you will find listed those that in my opinion deserve more attention. Make good use of it!

Canva (Android/iOS/iPadOS)

The first among the business card apps that I invite you to consider is Canva . It is an app for Android and iOS/iPadOS, which can also be used as an online service , which offers the possibility of creating a wide range of graphic works, including business cards. Considering its features, it is undoubtedly a great original business card app . It’s free, but in-app purchases are offered to unlock access to additional content and features (with prices starting at €0.99). Read more here .

To download and install Canva on your device, proceed as follows: if you are using Android , access the relevant section of the Play Store and press the Install button (you can also go to alternative stores ); if you are using iOS / iPadOS , access the relevant section of the App Store instead , press the Get button , then the Install button and authorize the download using Face ID , Touch ID or Apple ID password .

Subsequently, launch the app by touching its icon that has been added to the home screen, then register and /or login to the service using your email address, Apple account , Google account , Facebook account , Microsoft account or Clever , by pressing the appropriate keys visible on the screen and then providing the requested data.

Once logged in, write “business card” in the search field at the top of the screen and then tap on the relevant suggestion among those you see appearing.

Therefore, identify the business card that you think may interest you among those that have appeared in the list and preview it by pressing the (…) button at the top right of the same and selecting the Preview template item from the menu that opens. If the business card convinces you and you want to customize it, press the button Customize that template , otherwise tap the button (x) at the top right and select another one.

When you see the Canva editor, tap on an element of the template you’ve chosen to customize it to your liking. By pressing on a text, for example, you will see the useful commands for making changes to the text , customizing its font , color , spacing and so on. To edit the text in the text box present by default in the template, instead, double tap on it and type on the keyboard what you want to appear on the ticket. By pressing on an image , however, you can move it, apply filters or replace it with another image.

If you want to insert additional elements that are not present in the chosen model, tap the (+) button located at the bottom and, in the menu that opens, choose whether to add text, images, illustrations, shapes, logos and so on, by pressing on the buttons visible on the screen.

When the work is completed, tap on the sharing symbol (the one with the rectangle with an arrow inside ) located at the top right and decide whether to save the business card locally or share the project with other users. For more information, you can read my specific guide on how to use Canva .

Business Card Maker & Creator (Android)

If you own an Android device and you are looking for another business card making app , I recommend you to use Business Card Maker & Creator . As easily understood from its name, it is a solution specifically designed to create business cards, in fact. You can do this either starting from some ready-to-use templates or starting your own project from scratch. It’s free, but some content is offered through in-app purchases (with prices starting at €0.99).

To be able to use Business Card Maker & Creator on your device, download and install the app from the relevant section of the Play Store (or from alternative stores) following the usual procedure , then start it.

After completing the above steps, use the adjustment bars that you see appearing on the right, in order to adjust some specifics of the element you have added to the project, such as the opacity ( Opacity ), the size ( Size ) , the color ( Color ) etc. Remember, then, to save the changes made by pressing the Apply button .

When you are satisfied with your work, press the folder symbol with the arrow located at the top right and, in the menu that opens, select the Save my draft item , to save the draft of the project or tap the Export to Gallery item to save it locally.
