To unlock the secret weapon “The Unraveler” in the game Doom Eternal , you will need to open all the Slayer’s Gates in the story levels of the game. Moreover, there are many more tasks, but you are interested in a specific six missions. Remember that access to the Slayer’s Gate can only be obtained if you have not activated cheat codes. The first time you complete any task, no one will let you do this, but when replaying missions to collect missed collectibles, there is a great temptation to activate immortality or infinite ammunition. In the case of collectibles, this is not a big deal, but, as written above, the Slayer’s Gate will be blocked.
If you clear all 6 Slayer’s Gates, you will receive six Celestial Keys, which are needed to unlock the “Unraveler” in the Stronghold of the Guardians. The Gates themselves are easy to find, but to open them, you need purple keys. They are hidden nearby, but getting to them is not so easy. Below we tell you about each key!
Key for the Executioner’s Gate in the mission “Jubilation”
Towards the end of the level, you will be jumping on falling round platforms. There will be a gate on the right. Go into the cave, climb up the side ledges on the left and right. From the top, jump to where the game points. Turn around and jump in the opposite direction to see a platform with a key behind the upper opening.
Key for the Executioner’s Gate in the mission “Cultist Base”
In the room where there will be a demon statue with a green spot that you need to hit, you need to climb up the walls behind the statue, get to the opposite side and drop a large cube on chains. A springboard will appear. Jump with it to the statue and hit the green spot. Climb up the fallen statue, crawl through the hole and look in the opposite direction. You need to go through the same hole under the statue, jump to the yellow crossbars and get to the key with the Executioner’s Gate.
Key for the Executioner’s Gate in the mission “Blood Super Nest”
In this task you will collect bloody keys. You need to find each one. However, only the blue one is of interest, but you will get it last. Then go to the location where there is a ramp in the middle, hidden behind the teeth with a blue barrier. With the blue key you will open this barrier. Fly up on the ramp and fly to the neighboring building where the key is hidden.
Key for the Executioner’s Gate in the mission “Committee Complex”
When you enter the skyscraper where the cyber mancubus appears, go up to the third floor, jump on the wall on the right and, grabbing it, fly to the opposite side, into the purple corridor. There will be a key there.
Key for the Executioner’s Gate in the mission “The Core of Mars”
At the far end of the level, where you’re looking for a travel capsule, there’s a yellow remote. You don’t need it for the story, but if you press it, one of the rooms will expand and a platform will appear there. Using the platform, you can break the ventilation grilles on the left and right. One of them leads to the Executioner’s Gate key.
Key for the Executioner’s Gate in the mission “Taras Nabad”
When you pass the area with water and are asked to exit the round tunnels, do not rush to follow the marker. Turn left onto the steps, climb them and find the key. However, the first time you notice the key, you will not be able to take it. It will be behind a closed door. Just be patient and return to these same corridors a little later, from the other side.
