All types of victory in Civilization VI and how to achieve them.
- Victory by Domination
- Cultural Victory
- Scientific Victory
- Religious Victory
- Victory by Score
- Diplomatic Victory
Victory by Domination
To achieve this type of victory we must capture all the capitals in the game . All the capitals of each civilization, and hold them.
Prioritise science, to be at the forefront of technology and military affairs, and obviously the production of military units is vital. Try to use casus belli, whether by denouncing or in any other way, so as not to accumulate too much war weariness (or complaints). This also causes our cities to need more services, keep this in mind, to exploit luxury resources and build leisure districts.
Cultural Victory
To achieve cultural victory, one must achieve so much culture and tourism that one can dominate foreign cultures . This means having a total number of tourists in one’s civilization greater than all other civilizations combined.
- For more culture and tourism, prioritise the Theatre and Wonders districts.
- Earning points for Great People such as Great Writers, Great Artists, and Great Musicians will give you more culture and tourism by placing them in amphitheaters, museums, or broadcast centers respectively. Archaeologists are useful for digging up artifacts and putting them in archaeology museums. It is also possible to create wonders that are suited to improving culture or with room for great works. Examples of these are the Bolshoi Theater, the Great Library, or Broadway. The walls of each city provide 1 tourism for each level improved (Ancient Wall, Medieval Wall, and Renaissance Wall).
Scientific Victory
To achieve the Science Victory you have to research Rocketry and complete a number of Space Race projects . Depending on the game expansion, the conditions for this victory change slightly.

Religious Victory
To achieve a religious victory, we need our religion to be the predominant one in all civilizations in the game . A Religion is considered predominant if it is found in more than 50% of the cities of a civilization.
Prioritise the Holy Site and take out the Great Prophet as soon as possible, this will establish a religion. You can then boost the beliefs with Apostles, who can also spread the religion if they are adjacent to the city centre, just like missionaries. Use Inquisitors to eliminate other religions that are not your own in your own or foreign territory.
Victory by Score
Score victory is achieved when the end of turns is reached and no other civilization has managed to win by other means . The total score is calculated as follows with the standard rules:
