Raccoons can only be found in one biome in Dreamlight Valley; the Forest of Valor. This biome is located northeast of the plaza. In this area, you will only see two raccoons at a time. To see which ones are currently in the area, check the Animals section of the Collections menu.
How To Catch A Raccoon In Dreamlight Valley.
Raccoons will run away if you try to approach them normally, so you’ll need to approach them slowly while they’re still and crouching. It will take a little patience, but you’ll eventually be within range of feeding them. Be careful when the raccoon gets up and looks around – if you walk around at that moment, it will spot you and run away.
If you want the raccoon to be your companion, you will have to feed it blueberries for a few days. Eventually, it will become your friend and become your pet. You can always change the pet for another one you have available.
You’ll also find blueberries around the area, the raccoons’ favorite food, hanging from some bushes. Simply pick them up by interacting with the bush and they’ll automatically be stored in your inventory.
Once you spot a raccoon in the Forest of Valor, your goal is to feed it. Raccoons eat a variety of foods, but their favorite food is blueberries, which can also be found in the Forest of Valor. To feed a raccoon, walk up to it and stop when you see it rise up on its hind legs.
