Unfortunately, Clash of Clans , one of the most popular mobile games, is unavailable in the Russian Federation since 2022 due to well-known events. Fortunately, there are workarounds. In this article, we will tell you how to download the game on iPhone in the realities of 2024, and what pitfalls there may be.
How to download Clash of Clans for iPhone.
It is easier to solve the problem on Android than on iOS. The operating system from Google allows you to download and install any application from third-party sources. In the case of iPhone (if, of course, you leave out jailbreak), the user is limited to the App Store. Therefore, you will not be able to download Clash of Clans from the Russian version of the store.
So you have two options – change the region of your existing account or create a new one. Let’s look at both.
Changing your Apple ID region
Procedure:
- Go to “Settings”;
- Then to your account (top);
- Click on “Content & Purchases”;
- Next on “View”
- Click on “Country and Region” and then click on “Change”;
- Next, you need to select a country in which Clash of Clans is available (for example, the same Finland, but Türkiye, Kazakhstan and many others will do);
- Next, select the same country in the well-known three-letter service;
- After that, all that remains is to go to the App Store and download Clash of Clans.
Some important points:
- When changing the region, all data must be specified in Latin characters;
- You will also have to confirm your location by selecting a real foreign address. This can be done using Google Maps;
- A Russian phone will do, but skip the “Payment method” item;
- For the region change to work, you need to make sure that there are no active subscriptions.
