How To Use Roblox Dashboard

Roblox ‘s Creator Hub provides content creators with a wealth of features, from video tutorials and training to analytics and finding a teammate. And the Dashboard is the main and most important place you’ll be returning to once you’ve developed your own map. In this article, we’ll talk about this useful tool and its capabilities.

Roblox Dashboard is a powerful tool that allows you to perform various manipulations on projects and get a lot of detailed information about them. And with certain economic and marketing knowledge – turn your cards into a small business! Be sure to try to create something of your own and surprise other players!

What is Roblox Dashboard

This is a free developer panel for fine-grained project management in Roblox. Here are the following functions:

  • Creations;
  • Analytics;
  • Finances;
  • Localization;
  • Rights Manager;
  • Ads;
  • Open Cloud.

All this gives content creators almost complete control over their developments. The most important place here is Creations, which contains all the author’s games.

After clicking on one of them, the corresponding menu will open, which contains various items that raise many questions the first time. We will analyze them in detail below.

Overview and Configure

In these sections, you can set the publicity or privacy of your project, its avatar and name. In addition, right from here there is a transition to the editor, where all in-game settings take place.

Analytics

Here you can find almost any information about the created game. Below you can see the data that can be obtained:

  • Attendance statistics;
  • 1/7/30 days Retention. This is an indicator that reflects the number of people remaining on the corresponding measurement day;
  • User activity up to average session duration;
  • Number of unique players;
  • Their details (age, gender, language and country);
  • Sales funnel;
  • Custom events that the content author can set themselves.

This is necessary for one purpose – by tracking the parameters you can correct the shortcomings and increase the growth of players on the map. Consequently, increase profits. With proper monitoring of these indicators, you can form your own business strategy.

Monetization

For every author, this is the sweet spot! Especially in the Dashboard, as it displays all the information about your earnings: from your daily income to your conversion rate.

An analogue of a battle pass is also being created here. Players will buy it and receive certain advantages, and Robux, accordingly, will go into the author’s pocket. Plus, you can develop your own Developer Products – items that players will buy for in-game currency, which can then be withdrawn into real money.

And the last thing worth mentioning is that this is where you configure the advertising that is placed inside the game.

Monitoring

The next section is designed to check user activity and process their error requests. In the corresponding tabs, you can find the current online on the project: both on PC and mobile devices, as well as messages about various bugs and malfunctions.

In Data and Memory Stores, the developer tracks data that is transferred between game sessions, such as the state of an object, and stored on the server itself, such as the player’s progress or achievements.

Audience

This is where you configure user access to your projects: from which devices can you access the map, whether you can use swear words and obscene language. In addition, the developer himself takes a questionnaire here so that the system can determine the age limit for the map.

Engagement

In this place, you can organize and plan events. This is necessary so that players are notified of various events in due time, therefore, creating additional activity and attracting other users.

Roblox Dashboard Main Menu

Information about all projects is located here. Analytics displays general data for each card: activity, new users, retention and revenue.Finances is the most interesting section on this panel. Its name fully reflects the essence – here is detailed information about the possibility of withdrawing Robux into real money. Unfortunately, this operation is not yet available to developers from Russia.

Localizations is a place where you manage your game in other languages. Roblox has machine translation available, but you can always negotiate with another person who will make a high-quality text in a foreign language.

The next section, Rights Manager, is where you set up your project’s intellectual rights. This is necessary so that in case of unforeseen circumstances you can prove your authorship.
