Roleplay terms are used in many games that are based on role playing. Here are the roleplay terms you should definitely know before role playing.
What is RPG?
RP means roleplay. When it ends with the letter “G”, it means role-playing game.
What is Fail-RP?
Fail-RP refers to not following the roleplay and doing things that should not be done during roleplay.
What is Metagaming?
Using something you learned outside the game and that your character doesn’t know is called metagaming. In other words, it is strictly forbidden to reflect the plans you made outside the game into the game. For example, a friend of yours died during the role and contacted you outside the game to ask for help. In this case, you can’t go to help your friend because he/she is not IC (In Character).
What is Non-RP?
Non-RP is when you drive a car and do extreme things that you can’t drive in real life. The best examples of this would be flying from a very high place to land and going up a mountain with a race car.
What is OOC?
The part that covers the non-role events is called OOC. To explain it more simply, the non-role events and the people who play the characters fall under the term OCC.
What is Powergaming?
Doing things in roleplay that you could never do in real life is called powergaming. So impossible moves like grabbing and throwing a car are called powergaming.
What is Combat Log?
Intentionally leaving a role while continuing is called combat logging and is a violation of the rules. If you are disconnected, you must immediately log in and continue the role. Otherwise, you will be indicating that you do not want to role play and the penalty for this will be severe.
What is IC-OOC Mixing?
Mixing in-character and out-of-character events is called IC-OOC mixing. You can’t add anything of yourself to your character. However, you can’t pretend to meet someone you met in real life and talked to in a voice chat.
What is Revenge Kill?
Taking revenge for the character’s death with another account is called revenge kill. It is strictly forbidden to do this. A new account means a new person and it has nothing to do with the previous character. Therefore, you cannot take revenge on the person who killed you.
What is off-roading?
Driving by taking into consideration the real-life rules is called offroad.
What is Ninja Jacking?
Stealing a car without a role is called ninja jacking. That is, you cannot disturb other players by stealing a car without a role and for no reason. Because this is a violation of the rules.
What is Random Death Match (RDM)?
One of the most annoying things in roleplaying is RDM. RDM is harming other players without a role. You can’t harm other players while roleplaying unless you have a logical reason to do so.
What is Bug Abuse?
Gaining an advantage by using bugs is called bug abuse. It is forbidden to use vulnerabilities in the game for the benefit of the characters.
What is Vehicle Death Match (VDM)?
VDM is intentionally causing harm to others with your car. Of course, accidentally hitting someone in an accident does not fall under VDM.
What is Force RP?
Force RP means forced role. A person can force you into a role that you don’t want. This is very common in kidnapping roles. In this case, you have to enter the fear role and definitely do it.
What is Refuse RP?
Refusing a role is called refuse rp. This is sometimes accepted, sometimes not. For example, refusing a role in a kidnapping role is not appropriate behavior for the role.
