Healthcare IT Leaders Announces Partnership to Provide IT Managed Services for Baptist Health

Healthcare IT Leaders, a premier healthcare consulting and IT services firm, today announced an agreement with Baptist Health, the largest healthcare provider in Central Alabama, to partner on the delivery of comprehensive managed services for the health system’s Oracle Health clinical application.

As part of the multiyear agreement, Healthcare IT Leaders will provide 24/7 monitoring, support, and maintenance of Baptist Health’s Oracle Health applications. Working in close partnership with the internal IT team, the two organizations will collaborate to ensure seamless service delivery, system reliability, and continuous improvement.

The engagement will be supported by Healthcare IT Leaders’ Kansas City-based Center of Excellence, which serves as the operational hub for the company’s U.S.-based managed services. Baptist Health will benefit from the firm’s platform-agnostic Continuous Services approach, an evolution of traditional managed services that leverages intelligent automation and monitoring to optimize the performance of enterprise applications.

“This partnership ensures the critical applications that support our patient care teams are monitored and maintained with the highest level of expertise and responsiveness,” said Clyde Williams, CIO, Baptist Health. “These services will allow our internal IT team to focus on strong clinical alignment and strategic priorities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.”

Key Benefits of the Engagement:

  • 24/7 application support to speed issue resolution and increase clinician satisfaction
  • Complete lifecycle support for upgrades, enhancements, and integration of Oracle Health features
  • U.S.-based delivery model with flexible pricing, dedicated site leadership, and deep healthcare IT and clinical expertise
  • Transparent Service Level Agreements and performance reporting to ensure accountability and continuous improvement

“We’re proud to align with Baptist Health, an organization that shares our deep commitment to excellence in patient care,” said Ben Hilmes, CEO, Healthcare IT Leaders. “Together, we’re implementing a forward-thinking managed services model that brings agility, transparency, and measurable value to their IT operations.”

The engagement is the latest in a series of managed services partnerships between major health systems and Healthcare IT Leaders and follows the recent announcement of Healthcare IT Leaders as a certified Workday AMS partner, further validating the company’s tech-enabled Continuous Services approach for EHR and ERP solutions.
