Healthcare IT Leaders, a national leader in consulting and workforce solutions for hospitals and health systems, today announced two strategic additions to its executive team.
Jody Buchman is the new SVP, Continuous Services, responsible for all managed services, allowing health systems to improve service levels and achieve operational efficiencies by offloading repeatable maintenance and support activities.
Jody joins Healthcare IT Leaders from Clarivate, where she was SVP of Customer Experience and Data Science. Before that, she spent nearly 20 years at Cerner Corp. (now Oracle Health), rising to the role of Chief of Client Success and Support Services. Jody was responsible for the company’s $950M Support Services business and created and led Cerner’s client success organization.
David Unger joins Healthcare IT Leaders as Vice President, EHR and RCM, responsible for all clinical systems and revenue cycle consulting and advisory services. Most recently, David was COO at MedKick, a Remote Patient Monitoring start-up. Prior to that, he spent over a decade in EHR strategy and consulting leadership roles at Bluetree Network and Tegria.
As SVP, Transformation Services at Tegria, David led 200+ healthcare consultants focused on Revenue Cycle Transformation, Analytics/Custom Development, Clinical Services Transformation, and Patient Access/Digital Transformation. He began his healthcare career at Epic Systems where he worked as a senior project manager and implementation consultant.
