What are Wonders?

Wonders are spectacular buildings, inventions, and concepts that have stood the test of time and changed the world forever. They take time, energy, and effort to complete, but once built, they will provide many benefits to your civilization .

There are two types of wonders:

  • Buildable Wonders: you must have previously researched and unlocked them and have the requirements for the wonder itself, such as the terrain or resources for it. (For example, the Great Lighthouse must be on a sea coast tile) They involve a high production cost and turns, but they are usually worth it, even for game scoring. If another civilization builds it before you, you will lose progress and those turns, so be careful not to compete too much for the wonders.
  • Natural Wonders: These are wonders that we can find by exploring the world, in most cases one or several special squares that will give bonuses to the city that is on its borders or certain nearby resources.
