- Xbox App/Black Ops 6/Three dots/Manage/Files/Check and Repair.

- Windows Settings/Apps/Installed Apps/Xbox/Three dots/Advanced options/Repair/Reset. (Reinstall the Xbox app through the Microsoft Store)

Black Ops 6 won’t run or open on Steam
Many players have noticed that when they click the “Play” button, the game attempts to launch, but the button gets stuck on “Launching” and then after a few seconds it turns green again with the “Play” button on it without actually launching.
This error can be a bit tricky to identify, as it can vary depending on each computer’s configuration. However, it seems to be related to the game’s installation location , as it has been found that this problem is linked to a boot program, a component that manages the launch of the application.
In the Black Ops 6 (BO6) installation folder , there is a file called “bootstrapper.log” , which records startup errors. This file usually contains a warning about the missing “randgrid.sys” file , indicating the location where the file is expected to be found.
To fix the issue , you’ll need to copy the “randgrid.sys” file from the Black Ops 6 installation folder to the directory where the game needs it. Another option is to delete the file (after making a backup, of course) and then verify the integrity of the game on Steam via the library.
