One of the unnoticed events of the Genshin Impact 5.2 developer stream could have been the announcement of new wings. On November 20, the game is finally coming to the Xbox Series console, and the creators have timed the release of a green glider to coincide with this event.
Unlike the PlayStation Wings promotion, which can only be earned and used on Sony’s console, this gift can be claimed by all players.
How to Get New Wings on Xbox
The first to gain access to the glider will be Xbox Series players, who will be able to access it on November 20, 2024, alongside the release of version 5.2 and the console release.
When you first log into the game on Xbox, the account owner will receive a letter in their in-game mailbox. You will need to open it and accept the gift (the envelope icon on the left panel in the menu) within 30 days, otherwise the wings will simply disappear.

Each patch you will receive an in-game email with pleasant bonuses, including event spins, primogems and various resources.
How to Get Xbox Wings on PS5, PC, or Phone
Players on other platforms will be able to get the new glider during patch 5.3 – from January 1 to February 12, 2025. The mechanics are the same: after the update is released, you will need to open Genshin, and an email will be sent to your email.
After receiving the glider, it can be put on characters in the menu – on PC, the C button, then “Wardrobe” or the hanger icon in the lower right corner of the screen. For each character, the glider must be selected separately.
How to get wings if you don’t have an xbox
Xbox players will get a slight advantage. First, they will be the first to equip the new wings – 1.5 months before everyone else. Second, after the release of update 5.4, PC or Android players will no longer be able to obtain this glider.
