By focusing on objectives, practicing your skills, playing regularly, and collaborating with others, you can help your agent progress through the levels and achieve success in the game.
Why My Agent is Not Leveling Up in Valorant Game.
If your agent in Valorant isn’t leveling up, there could be several reasons behind it. Here are the most common ones to check:
1. Incomplete Agent Contract Progression
- Agent contracts need to be activated in order to gain XP toward unlocking tiers for that specific agent. To check this:
- Go to the “Agents” tab in the main menu.
- Make sure you’ve selected the agent whose contract you want to level up.
- Without activating the agent’s contract, XP will not count toward unlocking their levels.
2. Playing Unrelated Game Modes
- Some modes (like Deathmatch or Spike Rush) offer significantly less XP than standard modes (Unrated or Competitive).
- Playing Unrated, Competitive, or Swiftplay will give the most XP for agent progression, as these modes are designed to reward full matches.
3. Not Earning Enough XP
- XP is crucial for leveling up agents. Ensure you’re completing daily and weekly missions, as they give large XP boosts.
- Daily Missions: Reset every 24 hours and typically give ~2,000 XP each.
- Weekly Missions: Offer more XP but take longer to complete (~21,000 XP each).
4. Agent Already Maxed Out
- If you’ve completed all tiers in an agent’s contract, there won’t be any further progression for that agent. Check if their contract is fully completed.
5. Bugs or Issues
- Occasionally, game bugs can affect progression. If you’ve ruled out the above issues, try these steps:
- Restart the game and check again.
- Verify your game files in the Riot Games client.
- Contact Riot Support if the issue persists.
What You Can Do To Unlock to unlock all free agents In Valorant
There’s good news for you, and that is that you can easily get 2 new agents soon after you start playing Valorant. It’s quite possible that you’ll have already gotten them within your first 5 or 10 games . How does this work? Simple, Riot Games offers a welcome pass that you can see right away in the main menu of the game. It’s titled: “Play to unlock free agents”
This is basically a welcome pass for new players that has the following features:
- There are 10 different grades , with a different reward at each grade.
- All XP you earn through matches and daily missions will be applied toward progress in this pass.
- At level 5 and level 10 you will get a token to unlock the agent of your choice for free.
So, you don’t have to do anything other than play matches and level up with the experience you get in them. If you want to progress even faster, try to look at the two daily missions that the game offers. They are usually simple tasks such as killing X number of enemies in total, accumulating X number of skill uses, etc. Completing these missions will give you a boost in your experience and you will reach the next levels faster .
As we said, once you reach level 5 and 10 of the Welcome Pass, you will see among your rewards the possibility of unlocking up to two agents . So you will only have to go to the Agents tab in the menu and click on the “Recruit” option .
