The Skeleton Horse is an undead creature. It looks like a regular mount, but has bones instead of flesh. According to the latest data, the health of such a mob is 15 hearts – the same as standard mounts.

The bony one jumps at a speed of up to 0.3 blocks per second, and the jump height is from 0 to 2.5 blocks. But these characteristics can be lower, they are determined randomly when the mob appears in the world.

Unlike other undead, bone steeds do not take damage from sunlight. And an important difference from regular horses is the impossibility of reproduction. It will not be possible to breed foals from a skeleton.

Where to look for the skeleton horse

This rare mob is uncommon and is not tied to specific biomes or structures. Bone mounts can spawn anywhere in the game world, but are much more likely to spawn during thunderstorms.

The process of domestication

To tame, walk up to the mob and right-click (or right-click on console) to mount it.
