Download Discord and create an account

The official Discord client is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. To download it, just go to the official website, to the download page .

On desktop systems (Windows, Mac, and Linux) the site will show you the correct package to download and, once downloaded, just click on it to start the quick installation procedure (it has no traps and is completely in Italian).

On mobile (therefore on Android and iOS) you will be taken to the store page from which you can press the usual button for installing the apps.

The creation of a new account (if you do not have one is available both on all clients and on the official website.

To register a new account to log into Discord:

• go to the site of the service, and click at the top on the word ” Login“;
• below press on the word ” Register“;
• in the new ” Create an account” screen enter a valid email, username, password and date of birth;

• open Discord (the client or website is the same), and log in with your credentials;
• in the bar on the left of the screen click on the “ +“ icon;

• once you have chosen one you will be asked for how many people it will have to be if ” For a club or a community” (ie for a large number of people), or For me and my friends (therefore for a smaller number of people), you can also choose to postpone the choice by clicking on “skip this question”;
• choose and in the next screen you can put the name and photo to assign to your server (both can be changed later), and press the ” Create” button.

Once created, it will be easy to invite your friends, just go to the server control page by clicking on the icon in the left bar with the server name and then click on ” Invite your friends “, a link will be generated invitation to share with them.

Create Discord Server from Mobile App

The procedure to create a Discord server on a mobile application is very similar, you just need:

• open the Discord app, and log in with your account;
• in the bar on the left of the app, press the icon “ +“;
• the screen for creating a server will open (it is similar to the desktop one), you can choose a theme based on the intended use (there are: Gaming, School Club, Study Group, Friends, Artists and Creators), or you can click on ” Create custom” to make one tailored to your needs;

• then enter the server name and a photo of your choice and press the ” Create server” button.

Also this time, once the server has been created, it will be easy to invite friends or participants, just go to the server control page by clicking on the icon in the left bar with the initials of the server name you have created and then press the button “ Invite your friends “, an invitation link will be generated to share with them.
