In Genshin Impact, you can find the Garden of Endless Columns dungeon, located in the northern Sumeru Desert. You can open it if you solve the puzzle involving Pyro Monuments. In this article, we will tell you in detail how to get into the dungeon and successfully complete it, as well as solve the Mirage puzzle.

How to open the Garden of Endless Columns in Genshin Impact

Move to the Tomb of King Deshret and from there head north. The dungeon is opposite the Dune of Revelry. The stone columns surrounded by Pyro monuments and flaming fire flowers will also serve as landmarks.

To solve this riddle, pay attention to the number of flowers at each monument. It is not difficult to guess that the activation sequence of all monuments is related to flowers.

Important: the flowers are not just a hint, but part of the mechanics. If activated incorrectly, the monuments will be deactivated and you will have to start over. Also, avoid standing on the hot sandy surface next to active monuments – it deals periodic Pyro damage.

First, light the pedestal that has no flowers. To do this, add a character with the Pyro element to your team and hit the monument with a charged attack or elemental skill. Then attack the pedestal with one flower, then the monument with two, and so on until the last one with five flowers.

If you activate the pedestals correctly, a cutscene will start with the dungeon rising from the sand, and opposite it you will see a chest. Now that the dungeon is open, you need to prepare to go through it.

Preparing for the passage

The dungeon itself is not difficult and does not require much effort, but, as in any other dungeon, you will periodically be hindered by enemies. That is why it is worth preparing in advance and creating several strengthening potions and dishes, especially if your squad is not so strong.

Attack/Defense potions and critical damage/chance dishes are recommended. Note that the dungeon has the Blazing Sun effect (periodic Pyro damage without shields), so shield heroes (Zhong Li, Diona, Laila) or AoE healers (Kokomi, Barbara, Yao Yao) will make survival much easier.

Also make sure you have at least one hero with Dendro element, because without it you simply won’t be able to complete the dungeon. This is critical for activating Dendro mechanisms (buds, domes). Fast-shooting characters (Nahida, Tainan, Kollei) or Dendro DD (Al-Haytham) are best suited.

As for the choice of other characters, it is up to you. Strong Electro/Pyro/Hydro DD (Raiden, Hu Tao, Yae Miko, Yoimiya, Tartaglia) will help quickly destroy the molders.

Your opponents in the dungeon will be moldlings of different elements. How quickly you will be able to deal with them depends on the presence of buffs and how pumped up your characters are. Pay attention to the moldling cryo shamans: they create ice traps that slow down movement. Destroy them first!

How to complete the Garden of Endless Columns dungeon

Approach the arena with the Dendro Dome in the middle. Deal with the enemies guarding it, after which the protection will fall and you will be able to touch the blue flowers. They will materialize platforms, and the game camera will kindly show them.

Jump on the springy mushroom to the platforms and walk along them.

Tip: Don’t rush! The platforms disappear a few seconds after the flower is activated. Jump on the mushroom immediately after it materializes.

On the ledge at the end of the path there will be a flower bud and a time trial activator. Use Dendro on the bud and summon four-leaf symbols, then activate the trial and collect 14 particles in 40 seconds. Use Anemo characters (Venti, Kazuha, Sucrose) or teleport skills (Keqing, Yae Miko) to speed up the collection. Successful completion will remove the Dendro dome, under which there are more blue flowers and a regular chest.

Touch the blue flowers and additional platforms will appear. Jump to them with the springy mushroom, go to the ledge and wait for the moving platform. Step on it and be transferred to the upper level of the location. On the right behind the dome there is a hidden platform with a luxurious chest – do not miss it!

Follow the quest marker to the final arena of the dungeon. Defeat the group of enemies, then take the precious chest and complete the passage. The final opponents are large molders (Hydro/Cryo/Electro) + shamans. Use controlled reactions (Steam, Decay, Charged) for a quick finish.

The Mystery of the Ghost Drawings

The frescoes are phantom drawings scattered across the Sumeru Desert. To get the achievement “Beyond the Illusion of Time”, you need to touch all the frescoes in the game. The reward is 5 Primogems. There are 10 of these frescoes in the Sumeru Desert.

Near the dungeon, you can see two such frescoes that are hidden behind mirages during the day and cannot be touched. But as soon as night falls, the mirage disappears and the riddle can be solved. Lifehack: the frescoes can be activated during the day if you use the skill of Nylu (E-shka) or her Alter-ego during the ult!

Go to the painting and touch it. Enemies will appear, which you will have to fight. Now go around the ruins and on the left side you will find another painting. Do the same as with the previous one. If everything is correct, then a regular chest will appear. After activating all the frescoes in the region, a secret room in the Temple of Hemaru (south of the dungeon) will open with a luxurious chest and a story entry.

Main rewards: 40 Primogems, Artifacts (Sand Ephemera, Flower of Lost Paradise), Hero Experience, Mora.

The Garden of Endless Columns dungeon is a small challenge that can only be completed once. It will be an additional option for replenishing Primogems, obtaining useful materials for upgrading weapons and heroes.
