Teardown is a heist simulator mixed with a sandbox game, built in a voxel style. Users love the concept of being able to grab and steal things that aren’t nailed down, destroying the environment. The game has earned good ratings and reviews, as well as a sizable fan community that creates Teardown mods. In this article, you’ll find the top 30 best mod packs for Teardown.
How to install and enable the Terdown mod
There are two main ways to install mods for Terdown: through the Steam Workshop (recommended for the licensed Steam version) and manually (for mods not available in the Workshop, as well as pirated versions). When installing mods, be sure to check their compatibility with the current version of the game to avoid crashes.
Installation via Steam Workshop
This is the easiest and safest method, as the files are checked and updated automatically. To get started, open Steam and go to the Teardown game page. Select the “Workshop” tab, find the mod you want (e.g., a map, weapon, vehicle, etc.), and click “Subscribe.”
Steam will automatically download and install the mod. Next, launch Teardown, go to the “Mods” menu, and activate the desired mod. Once activated, the mod will immediately appear in the game. If it doesn’t appear, restart the game—this often resolves the issue.
You can also manage your subscriptions through the Mod Manager in the game’s main menu. To do this, open it, click “Manage subscribed…” and subscribe to mods on Steam—they will appear in the “Subscribed” section
Manual installation
This method is suitable if a Teardown mod isn’t available in the Workshop, you need to lock a specific version, or organize mod testing (development). To do this, download the mod archive (usually .zip, .rar, or .7z) and unzip it—there should be a folder with the mod’s name inside. Then, navigate to the following path: DocumentsTeardownmods or Teardownmods. If the mods folder doesn’t exist, create it manually.
Copy the mod folder into the “mods” folder. Alternatively, you can create a separate folder for the mod. Launch Tier Dawn, then open “Mods” in the main menu. Finally, find your mod and activate it
Important : For the mod to register correctly in the Terdown game, there must be a main.lua or main.xml file in the root folder (at the top level).
If the mod isn’t showing up, check that the “mods” folder contains the mod’s files and not another archive, then restart the game. Alternatively, you can try disabling the most recently installed mods and then re-enabling them one by one. It’s also worth noting that some older mods may require copying the Data folder and replacing the files—only do this if the mod author specifically specifies this in the instructions.
Important : Mods downloaded from third-party websites may contain corrupted files or be incompatible with your version of the game. Download only from trusted sites to ensure trouble-free play of Theordown with mods.

- Author: Cheejins
- Date created: March 14, 2021
- Last updated: November 2, 2024
- Download: Steam
Flying Planes + New Aerodynamics for Teardown lets you fly planes. It combines elements of arcade action (like Ace Combat) and realistic simulation (like DCS). There’s a mode for smaller maps that increases the plane’s maneuverability, but it only works in the basic flight mode. The mod also takes damage into account: damaged wings reduce lift, broken rudders reduce roll control, and engine damage reduces thrust.
Dust2
- Author: micro
- Date created: March 20, 2021
- Last updated: September 3, 2022
- Download: Steam
The Dust2 mod for Teardown is a fan-made version of the classic Counter-Strike map de_dust2, converted into a destruction simulator. The author worked extensively on the location and tried to accurately reproduce the architecture of the CS:GO map, but with an important twist: everything is destructible. Thanks to Teardown’s physics, you can drive a truck through the gate at site B, blow up walls to create new passages or cover, break through a window for a better view of the terrorist base, and even jump across rooftops and explore areas inaccessible in the original CS:GO.
Minecraft Village
- Author: The_Wolfian
- Date created: March 20, 2021
- Last updated: May 31, 2023

Minecraft Village for Theordawn isn’t a mod with new mechanics or weapons, but a sandbox map. It takes you to a small Minecraft -style village with typical buildings—houses, a forge, a church, farms, wells, and other objects. The map is designed for multiplayer.
It also features NPC inhabitants, who bring the world to life but sometimes cause amusing glitches. For example, they might attack and destroy the environment.
Grand Tear Auto
- Author: tislericsm
- Date created: September 30, 2023
- Last updated: October 15, 2024
- Download: Steam
“Grand Tear Auto” radically changes the gameplay of Teardown, transforming it into an open-world sandbox in the spirit of GTA. A detailed city awaits you, with streets, buildings, and hidden spots to explore. A wanted system is in place: the more violations the player commits, the more active the police become, triggering pursuit with cars, helicopters, and patrol cars.
Vehicles travel along preset routes, and NPC pedestrians roam the city, bringing life to the environment. There are no story missions—you decide how to play. For example, you can wreak havoc, start shootouts, and create your own stories. If you enjoy the freedom and destruction of Teardown, Grand Tear Auto will take your experience to the next level with chases and extensive city exploration.

- Author: mamin noob
- Date created: July 3, 2022
- Last updated: January 26, 2023
- Download: Steam
This mod adds a collection of Soviet and Russian vehicles to the game. The author assembled this pack using the work of other modders. It includes both mass-market models (VAZ, UAZ) and specialized vehicles (fire trucks, cargo trucks, and others). He also adjusted their physical characteristics (configs) to make the vehicles behave more realistically in the game and be easier to control.
Fish
- Author: DimasVoxel
- Date created: October 30, 2022
- Last updated: November 20, 2022
- Download: Steam
The Fish mod is part of a future animal collection that will bring the world to life. It adds fish to oceans, rivers, and swamps. The mod itself doesn’t allow fishing—for that, you need the additional “Fishing Rod” mod, which is installed along with Fish. This mod adds a fishing rod, allowing you to try catching fish.
GODZILLA
- Author: tislericsm
- Date created: January 8, 2023
- Last updated: February 28, 2023
- Download: Steam
With the “GODZILLA” mod for Teardown, you’ll be able to add a giant radioactive monster to the game—one you can fight or wreak havoc on. Godzilla is incredibly powerful: he crushes almost everything in his path and incinerates objects with his atomic breath. For example, this creature can melt metal and obliterate cities. However, normal attacks are ineffective against him; only explosives can defeat him.
Because of its power, this mod significantly changes the gameplay. Instead of the usual calm sandbox, a grand confrontation begins. If you enjoy serious challenges and spectacular chaos, this mod might be right for you.
Voxel Repair Tool

“TearNG” brings the spirit of the BeamNG.drive car simulator to the game . It features realistic car destruction physics and maps specifically suited for stunts. The goal isn’t just to destroy the environment, but to test the durability of virtual cars by crashing into obstacles and watching them gradually disintegrate. Thor’s hammer (Mjölnir) from Norse mythology will appear in the game. Its appearance transforms gameplay into a spectacular show of lightning and devastating explosions. Controlling the weapon is simple: left-clicking (LMB) causes an explosion—the scale of which can be adjusted in the mod’s settings—while right-clicking (RMB) causes a more powerful explosion and forcefully pushes objects away.

NorthPine Mall 2.0 is a complete redesign of the original NorthPine Mall map. Compared to the previous version, this map is significantly more spacious, with more rooms, structures, and vehicles. Detail, lighting, and overall environment rendering have been improved. The developers also focused on improving performance.
This map is perfect for testing various weapons, tools, and other mods in confined spaces. You can either methodically destroy individual elements or wreak havoc by razing an entire building.
Enhanced Particles
- Author: Pauzol
- Date created: November 4, 2020
- Last updated: November 17, 2020

Enhanced Particles improves particle-related visual effects. The mod’s primary goal is to make destruction effects in the game more expressive and impressive. After installing the mod, explosions appear larger, flames and sparks become brighter and more detailed, and other small particles (such as those from object destruction) acquire sharper and more appealing graphics. In a game where the primary gameplay is based on environmental destruction, such improvements significantly enhance the visual appeal and add to the enjoyment of the game.

- Date of creation: May 16, 2026

Smooth Noclip
- Author : Alscenic
- Date created : November 30, 2022
- Last updated : December 4, 2022
- Download : Steam
Some quests in Teardown require you to use your logic to find shortcuts and build passages. These help you gather the necessary items and reach the checkpoint as quickly as possible.
Sometimes these missions seem incredibly difficult, so modders decided to simplify the task and created a mod called Noclip. With this modification, you can move freely through any location. To activate Noclip, simply press “Q.”
God Mode
- Author : stachu
- Date created : June 1, 2021
- Last updated : April 17, 2024
- Download : Steam
Teardown mods, like any other mod, introduce changes to the game. This modification will likely please many fans of the game, as it grants them immortality. After all, every hero in the game has HP, which can decrease and ultimately lead to death.
On sandbox maps, God Mode has almost no effect, but you can encounter problems and die while completing quests, making it more difficult. In this case, simply load God Mode and press “G” to activate the mod.
Geardown
- Author : EuroRyder
- Date created : July 30, 2022
- Last updated : February 21, 2023
- Download : Steam
Other interesting things that Geardown mods can offer include: in addition to immortality and unimpeded exploration, new vehicles. The game’s default mode can become boring over time, but the Geardown mod can solve this problem.
Once the pack is added to the game, you’ll have access to several vehicles with different characteristics. Geardown will give the game a new lease of life, and it’ll rekindle your interest. Below, I’ve highlighted a few of the vehicles you’ll be able to use:
- Typhon VXR;
- 255 Amobi, Sunrise 2000;
- Aglais;
- Rosine Bonemaro and others.
Hacked cars
- Author : fortnite
- Date created : July 30, 2022
- Last updated : July 16, 2025
- Download : Steam
Teardown mods encourage gamers to hack. Hacked Cars is designed for just that. As the name suggests, you’ll be hacking vehicles, but with one goal in mind: to make Teardown a thriller.
Yes, there’s one caveat: hacked cars won’t obey you, as they have built-in AI. An AI car will chase you, and even walls won’t stop it. If it gets stuck, it will start looking for a way out and continue stalking you. If you’re looking for a more mystical experience, then this mod is definitely for you.
Teleporter
- Author : jamie
- Date created : February 19, 2021
- Last updated : March 2, 2021
- Download : Steam
Teardown mods are also designed for convenience. Admittedly, some games lack a teleporter to allow quick and easy travel around the map. Modders have apparently addressed this issue and solved it by creating the Teleporter.
If you want to instantly teleport to any location on the map within your line of sight, this handy mod will let you do just that. Even if the object is a long way away, it’s no problem for the teleporter. Now you’ll have more time to complete missions, which is better than wasting time on long journeys.
Physics Gun
- Author : Thomasims
- Date created : February 19, 2021
- Last updated : March 13, 2026
- Download : Steam
Many players consider the Physgun a useful and essential tool in the game. While it’s not exactly a weapon, it does transport objects from one location to another and destroys them. It’s important that the objects are detached from the ground. For example, you can’t lift a structure until you destroy its foundation.
Hold down the left mouse button and aim the beam at the object you want to grab. If you press the left mouse button again, the object will be thrown, but if you hold the right mouse button, it will hang in the air. The cannon will also help you move around the map. Simply lift yourself up by standing on any object, grab the beam again, and once you’re on top, you can move in any direction.
ExoSuit Mod
- Author : Zigbert
- Date created : May 20, 2022
- Last updated : August 1, 2022
- Download : Steam
Does your character in Teardown seem weak and worthless? Did you want to make them stronger? That’s possible with the ExoSuit mod, which will make you almost Iron Man without being a billionaire or playboy. Maybe even a bit of a genius.
The game will feature a mechanized armor suit that will allow you to run faster, jump higher, and destroy everything in your path. It will also give you immense power, additional inventory space, and the ability to self-destruct. Now you won’t seem so weak and useless.
Portal Gun
- Author : Mathias
- Date created : March 11, 2021
- Last updated : August 9, 2023
- Download : Steam
Another thing that might please fans: Portal Gun brings the weapon from Valve’s puzzle series to Teardown. You place an orange portal first, then a blue one. This will act as an entrance and an exit. All you have to do is move between them without obstacles.
While this modification may not seem all that useful, it will help you find new vantage points. This will make it easier to reach a specific point, even if the path might be difficult. Planning heists with the Portal Gun will become even more interesting.
AC130 Airstrike
- Author : My Cresta
- Date created : February 20, 2021
- Last updated : May 23, 2026
- Download : Steam
There are moments in Teardown when the character may find themselves in a dead end. If you’re surrounded and cornered, and you see no other way out, airstrikes will come to the rescue. This will kill all witnesses, and no one will know of your crimes.
The AC130 Airstrike modification contains three types of ammunition: cluster bombs, napalm, water cannons, and more. When you activate an airstrike, the camera automatically switches to the aircraft, allowing you to zoom in and adjust your shot. Afterward, you can enjoy the agony you’ve created.
AGGRESSION
- Authors : Lucas.mp3, Malario, CaptainBear, legitnub
- Date created : August 20, 2021
- Last updated : May 24, 2023
- Download : Steam
If you install the mod called Aggression, you’ll get a whole minigame that includes new maps, interesting enemies, and challenges. Fans of futurism will definitely love the maps, as they’re designed in that style. And the challenges will require a lot of thought and effort, as they’re notoriously difficult. Even reaching level three will be a challenge. It’s not for nothing that the mod’s developers named it Aggression.
Russian Town 3: Winter
- Authors : Igor_Al88, Waevy
- Date created and updated : December 5, 2021
- Download : Steam
Want to immerse yourself in a winter fairytale? A Russian one, no less? The Russian Town 3: Winter mod will let you fulfill that small wish. Snow will surround you everywhere, even falling from the sky. However, this will create some complications, as getting around by transport will be more challenging. Not only snow and ice will hinder your progress, but also fog.
You’ll love the map’s atmosphere, as you’ll see familiar panel buildings, wooden houses, shawarma stands, and domestic cars. A little Russia right in Teardown.
Meteor Strike
- Authors : Deffcolony, Dzage, tislericsm
- Date created : August 6, 2021
- Last updated : April 19, 2022
- Download : Steam
Ever wanted to cause an apocalypse? With the Meteor Strike mod, it’s now possible in-game. You can create the ultimate life-destroying scenario. Everything around you will be destroyed by a meteor shower. It will look epic and breathtaking. Nothing will remain of small objects, only memories and a crater.
If you’re looking to destroy something large, the object will have large holes. Even a truck could easily fit in there. If you’re bored with the usual gameplay, you can spice it up with something as innocent as triggering a meteor shower and bringing about the end of the world.
Voxel Plaza
- Author : o_O-r.
- Date created : March 21, 2021
- Last updated : May 31, 2026
- Download : Steam
The game has many worthy and beautiful maps, but Voxel Plaza stands out for its scale and ambition. As you wander around, you’ll see skyscrapers, parking lots, cranes, cars, and other trappings of a metropolis. You can build anything you want and decorate the map with your own buildings. You can also change the weather or prepare for an alien invasion. You can also create your own scenario that will combine fun and drama.
This selection of the 30 best Teardown mods clearly demonstrates the rich and diverse fan support for the project. Among them are some truly popular and compelling additions, from new maps and weapons to large-scale scenarios and physics improvements. These mods significantly expand the game’s capabilities and provide a fresh experience even for experienced players.
