There are a total of 42 objects to find in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, most of which need to be connected to the chiral network as part of the storyline. Some of them are well hidden and it is not obvious how to connect a particular region. Connecting and increasing the connection level to all objects is required to unlock several achievements at once:

Achievement “Starting Point” – connect the cuepid for the first time.

Achievement “Unifier” – connect all objects using cupid.

Achievement “Connecting Hearts and Minds” – achieve the maximum level of connection with all objects.
None of the structures are missable, you can still connect and level up your connection to all the objects after completing the main story, when Episode 17 “Once Upon a Time” (the so-called postgame) begins. 30 objects are automatically unlocked during the main storyline, and the remaining 12 are optional, which you need to unlock by either delivering lost cargo or completing additional orders from other Objects. Increasing the level of the structures is usually done by delivering orders or lost cargo to get likes from the local leader (villager, prepper), although some of the additional locations also have additional orders that you need to complete at certain levels to continue increasing the connection. These usually become available when the current level is filled to about 80%, and you receive a message over the SSS network from the prepper or leader when they are ready to squeeze out a new additional order. It is recommended to connect all optional objects as you progress through the story to expand the chiral network to the area they cover. This makes certain story points easier, as you will often have to backtrack through areas you have completed to complete major orders. Regions connected to the chiral network provide access to other players’ structures, and you will be able to use their transports, roads, transponders, etc.
Some optional objects cannot be connected to until the main story is completed (in particular, you cannot do this with the survivalist Mr. Impossible), so if you try to do this during the storyline and it does not work and you do not receive a message on the SSS about a new additional order, then this means that you either need to continue playing the main story or completely complete it.
The objects are listed in the order they are unlocked in the storyline, and we’ve added optional ones to places where you can unlock them in parallel to the main story. The connection level rewards below do not include the music tracks that are unlocked by reaching some locations.
