Is romance possible in Crimson Desert?

Already in the very first city, the protagonist can encounter numerous girls working in various establishments or simply strolling the streets. Not only can he greet them, but he can also give them gifts, which increases his “Trust” bar. One can’t help but wonder if this means he can initiate romantic relationships with the girls he likes by increasing their Trust bar to the maximum.

Unfortunately, NO ! There’s no way to romance random characters in the game, no matter how much you shower them with gifts. Trust in this case will work the same as with any other character in the game. You’ll simply improve your friendship with them, nothing more.

What about Cliff’s companions? Damiana plays a significant role in the story, and is even playable using a special character-switching system. However, romances with companions are also NOT POSSIBLE . The game has no mechanics allowing for such close relationships.
